Glasgow Ice Cream Wars - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia → en.wikipedia.org

The Glasgow Ice Cream Wars were conflicts in the East End of Glasgow in Scotland in the 1980s between rival ice cream van operators, over lucrative territory. The conflicts involved daily violence and intimidation, and led to the deaths by arson of several members of the family of one ice cream van driver and a consequent court case that lasted for 20 years. The conflicts generated widespread public outrage, and earned the Strathclyde Police the nickname the “serious chimes squad” (a pun on Serious Crime Squad) for its perceived failure to address them.[1][2]

Is drinking through your nose dangerous? → wiki.answers.com

Yes. Your nose leads to your lungs, and anything entering them that shouldn’t be there can set up serious problems including infection…ultimately it could lead to death. Think about how people drown…they drown because liquid enters their lungs, and displaces air, ands so the body cannot live. In short, drinking through your nose is a stupid thing to do, and not at all “cute,” or funny.
